Mercer County Planning and Zoning Sub-Committee will meet March 15th, 2018 after the regularly scheduled meeting at Beulah Civic Center to start work on the Medical Marijuana Ordinance.

Mercer County Sheriff’s Department has an opening for a full-time permanent Jailer/Dispatcher.  Work schedule involves shift work, weekends, and holidays.  Starting salary depends on experience.  Benefits include employer sponsored BCBS health/dental/vision, life insurance, and NDPERS.  A GED equivalent or high school diploma and a valid North Dakota Driver’s License are required.  Upon employment, the applicant must complete and pass other required training.  Pre-employment drug testing is required.  Applications can be obtained from the Mercer County Sheriff’s Department by calling (701) 745-3333. The 2017 Mercer County real estate tax statements will be mailed around December 18, 2017. If you have not received a statement, please contact the Mercer County Treasurer’s office at 745-3323 or

Taxes may be paid in person at 410 Van Slyck Ave, Stanton, ND or mailed to PO Box 39, Stanton, ND 58571 or paid online at

Century Code, Section 57-20-07.1 states, in part, as follows:

“Failure of an owner to receive a statement will not relieve

that owner of liability, nor extend the discount privilege past the February 15th deadline.” Please feel free to call if you have any questions.














Meeting Schedule
The commission meets the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month at 9:00 AM CT.  Special meetings are scheduled as needed.
If you wish to appear before the Commissioners please contact the Auditor's Office at 745-3292 by noon of the Friday preceding the meeting.






The Mercer County Weed Board (MCWB) schedules a regular monthly meeting on the Second Thursday of each month.

Meeting time is 7:00 P.M. during the winter months (Central Standard Time), or 7:30 P.M. during the summer months (Central Daylight Time).

Location is the Beulah Civic Center.
