NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

ON AN APPLICATION TO AMEND

THE MERCER COUNTY ZONING ORDINANCE

CASE NO. 5078

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Mercer County Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on Thursday evening, January 15, 2026 beginning at 6:30 p.m. Central Time at the Mercer County Courthouse in Stanton for the purpose of considering an application from the Mercer County Planning Commission.

It is the nature, scope and purpose of this application to amend all chapters for a complete update of the Mercer County Zoning Ordinance. A copy of the purposed changes is available for inspection and review in the office of the county auditor from the hours of 8am-4pm, Monday-Friday. TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the public is hereby invited to comment on the above proposed ordinance amendments at this public hearing or forward written comments prior to this hearing to: Mercer County Auditor – Box 39 – Stanton, ND 58571.
