Mercer County Sheriff's Department has an opening for a full-time Correctional Officer/Dispatcher. Work schedule does involve shift work, weekends, and holidays - BUT you have a great team to work with! Excellent full benefit package. Some of the duties include: Dispatch and maintain radio contact with field personnel; record radio transmissions and phone calls; meet and assist persons coming into the Law Enforcement Center; effectively dispatch required emergency personnel; and perform duties relating to booking incoming prisoners and processing outgoing inmates.

All training, equipment, and uniforms provided by Mercer County. Upon employment, the applicant must complete and pass other required training. A GED equivalent or high school diploma, valid North Dakota Drivers License, pre-employment drug testing and background check is required.

Salary range is $24-$28.
